This particular pocket is situated on The Fairy Hole Vein, it was discovered in July 2021.
The name captures the intense purple of this fluorite in association with the almost continuous rain whilst extracting the pocket.
The pocket was opened in July 2021 together with the interconnected hailstorm pocket.
Its fluorite is characteristically translucent, deep inky purple. It forms as fine single cubic crystals, and clustered crystals. Crystals may have a smooth glassy surfaces or intricate mosaic growth patterns, many specimens are associated with large, rounded silver/grey Galena crystals
