This particular pocket was situated on the Greenbank Vein and was discovered in August 2022
The dawn of 2022 marked the 50th anniversary since specimen mining began at Roger Lee.
The discovery of this pocket coincided with this special half century, so was named 50 year pocket in celebration. This small pocket, in the wall of the drive produced perfectly developed crystals, all with a mirror like lustre and vibrant daylight fluorescence, are a fitting tribute to Rogerley.
